Mary Clarke
Mary Clarke is the Assistant General Counsel at WSWA. In her role, Mary assists in the development of policy principles and guidelines, works with state and regulatory officials on behalf of the WSWA members, and monitors legislation and litigation that impact WSWA member interests.
Mary joined WSWA from Lyft where she served as a Legislative Policy Advisor, drafting and reviewing legislation and regulations that impacted company interests and objectives. Prior to working at Lyft, Mary was a Legislative Analyst and Counsel to the Maryland House Economic Matters Committee where she drafted and advised on a range of legislation – including tobacco, cannabis, and alcohol.
Born and raised in South Florida, Mary earned her undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University and her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School. Mary is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
