The Wine and Spirits Tasting Competition provides opportunities for old and new brands to earn recognition while the Wholesaler Iron Mixologist Competition is an action-packed battle between leading cocktail pros before a live audience emceed by Tony Abou-Ganim, The Modern Mixologist.
The Opening Night Reception sponsored by the American Distilled Spirits Association features a lively mix of bars and brand displays showcasing the style and sizzle for which the WSWA Convention & Exposition is famous. Also returning is the popular and widely-attended Brand Battle, WSWA’s version of Shark Tank where pre-selected brands, pitch our panel of industry experts and influencers –and take feedback—live on our competition stage.
Returning for the second year is the Wholesaler Leadership Series, a half-day educational forum only for WSWA member wholesalers will offer panel discussions and presentations to help arm leaders with the latest marketing, sales, product and trend information.
The General Session will showcase a top speaker as well as remarks from incoming WSWA Chairman Sydney Ross of Great Lakes Wine & Spirits as well as new WSWA President and CEO Michelle Korsmo. The association will also recognize two industry giants, presenting the Sidney Frank Innovation Award and the Lifetime Leadership Award, each to be announced in the days ahead.
